| 1. Consumer Assistance |
 |
With our wide array of brochures, visitors might feel a little 'lost' as to which brochure they should be collecting for their travel. With an idea of travellers itineraries, KTO will be able to help
visitors select only the relevant brochures.
If a visit to KTO's office is inconvenient, travellers can drop us an email and the brochures can
be mailed instead.
As our office unable to offer direct assistance for hotel reservations, we can provide the
contacts instead so that travelers can make their own reservations with ease.
In the event that travelers feel 'confused' by the massive number of tour itineraries available in
the market as advertised in the daily newspaper, KTO can assist them the best itinerary to suit
their needs.
From time to time, KTO also organizes public seminars to increase awareness of Korea as a
holiday destination for specific target travelers, eg. Free & Easy travelers.

| 2. Travel Agent Assistance |
 |
Currently, KTO Kuala Lumpur oversees promotional activities in Malaysia, Philippines and
Brunei.
At the forefront, we are closely with travel agents as well as airlines in the development of new
tour itineraries, provide training for staff to equip them with more effective selling skills, and
introduce Korea to agents through familiarization tours.
KTO Kuala Lumpur also organizes trade events to bring Korea closer to travel agents by
inviting Korean delegates comprising of land operators, ski resorts and theme park operators, as
well as representatives from provincial and city government offices. These events have been
instrumental in the development of interesting Korean tour programmes, while bridging the gap
between Korea and the respective markets.
In a supporting role, KTO also regularly produces press releases to ensure that new
developments are constantly communicated and updated to the media. Our office also plans
yearly marketing campaigns to maintain the image of Korea as a choice of holiday destination
through advertising in the local newspapers, on television and radio and even outdoors (eg. Bus
advertising ).
Press trips are often planned so that invited journalists can experience Korea's distinctive culture,
traditions and attractions, such as gourmet tours, visits to Korea's entertainment spots and
shopping districts.
Periodically, KTO also distributes attractive tour shells for agents to print their itineraries.
